On 19 October 2024, the company held its annual Safety Night. The event was organised by the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Department, assisted by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee. The annual Safety Night is an event to show appreciation and reward employees who have contributed towards a healthier and safer workplace.

Opening address by Mr Sumiya (Managing Director)
Mr Sumiya Takeshi (Managing Director) kicked off the event with his opening address. During his speech, Mr Sumiya took the opportunity to thank everyone’s’ effort towards a safe and healthy work environment. He congratulated the recipients who will be receiving the ‘Outstanding Safety Performance Award’ and ended his speech by wishing all employees a ‘Happy and Safe Deepavali’ in advance.

Lucky Draw

A total of 10 lucky draw prizes were given out. The lucky draws prizes consisted of hampers and cash vouchers.

Certificate of Appreciation for the WSH Committee 2024

Each year, selected employees from various department/section were appointed the company’s Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Committee. The WSH Committee participates in the development, implementation and monitoring of company health and safety policy and procedures. It also receives safety concerns (feedbacks) from employees, investigate and resolve these safety concerns in a timely manner. In order to show appreciation for their strong commitment in ensuring excellent workplace safety and health, a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ were handed out to our WSH Committee members.

Employees who had excellence health and safety performance were selected and presented with an award. This year, 8 employees from various department/section were selected for the ‘Outstanding Safety Performance Award’. The employees were:

Group Relay

During the event, employees participated in the group relay organised by HSE Department. Prizes were given out to the teams who finished in the top placings.
