At Mirador, we are constantly looking for ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity. With the covid situation and travel restrictions in place, it is more imperative for us to continue on this journey towards productivity improvement.<\/p>\n

Recently, a Taiyu Clamp Maintenance Machines NEWCAM-II for scaffold clamp maintenance was ordered directly from Japan. This machine allows us to do the maintenance of the clamps automatically. The machine is able to reform the clamp cover, shape screws, and apply oil and packing. Each clamp is serviced every five seconds, saving us much needed manpower which can be redeployed to other productive areas.<\/p>\n

With the travel restrictions still in place, it is important to continuously review and relook into our existing processes and work methods to reduce reliance on manpower. We aim to achieve more efficient and productive operations through increasing automation, software tools and better work processes.<\/p>\n
